Secluded ,peaceful, farmlife. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it. If you want simple, low cost, secluded this is what u need. Bring plenty of food/toiletries etc. There isn't much for a store here, closest walmart is 25 miles. There is no traffic, no people. This place is mom and pop run. By no means perfect but we enjoyed it. Must be able to walk stairs and use a tub. Not for old folks. Muddy outside , don't recommend a small car. They did a great job cleaning. ud83dudc4f never saw a single bug inside. It was cold the first night but they provided heaters. They have some towels and kitchen utensils. Linen is old but we had brought our own. This was a great little getaway for me and my kiddos ud83dude0a

They are so welcoming, its a great get away spot in the middle of nowhere. Your right by a beautiful river that you can go kayaking or canoeing in as well as swim and fish. Private enough to take a midnight swim in the buff. The cabins are free of them on the inside but be cautious of spider webs on trails. Beyond that there a super friendly dogs that are sure to welcome your arrival.

My boyfriend and I went here for a romantic getaway tucked back in the woods, had the best time. Cabins very clean and neat, nature sounds were amazing, view off back porch overlooking the water was breathtaking! We also canoed a couple times which was a blast! Can't wait to go back!!

If your looking to get a cabin in the woods, this is your place. If your looking for a 4star resort this is not your place. It's a beautiful place on the Glover River, which you can see from every cabin. The owner Kim is very nice and friendly, they are also busy with running a farm it's best to call them to get a hold of them. They have no TV or radio in the cabins, we have AT&T and had almost perfect signal if needed. The suspension bridge was out due to floods they have had, also the dock is gone. The have canoes which are free to all guest. They do horseback riding too. It's about 25 mins. Top to Beavers Bend. They have a Queen, Full and two twin beds in the cabin. There is room for a blow-up bed too. They charge per person, which is nice. They also do a 10% off Military discount. The seclusion is nice you can't see the other cabins really since it's heavily treed.
