Great place to park and take a walk. There is a sign explaining a 5k practice route.

It’s a challenging gravel trail but flat. It can be muddy and wet in spots so you and your bike will get dirty. The parking lot at the start is seedy and kind of sits low. I would suggest to park across highway 41 in a safe, paved retail parking lot then commence with your ride. When we were done some creepy people showed up so we wanted to get out of there without delay with our nice bikes and car and wallets. The trail has mile markers but none of the streets or bridges are labeled as to where you are exactly. It’s pretty rustic and quiet. No traffic.
