I have applied for assistance in Texas and Oklahoma over the years and i have to say I would much rather deal with Oklahoma. Every person I talked to seemed generally motivated to get me some help. They were all polite and friendly and apologized for not getting me qualified sooner. Texas, on the other hand seemed to across the board look for reasons to disqualify me. Thanks to you all that helped me. I am very appreciative.
I applied for the heat and cooling assistance back in the summer and they paid the wrong electric company and have not straightened it out yet! And needless to say calling doesn’t do any good!
Got a letter from them saying I needed to renew my childcare again. I have been having issues with the website to renew the case & Everytime I’ve called they don’t ever have anyone available to talk to directly. Even as soon as they open in the mornings. It’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t waste my time coming in here
I submitted my renewal for my food stamps and gave them all the information that they needed so that my case could continue to stay open. I received a phone call from a caseworker at the DHS live office that said they needed some more information I sent the information that day. Not even 3 days later they closed my case. I have called and I have messaged them by email over 12 times in a matter of a week. I cannot get anybody on the phone nobody is returning my call. This is ridiculous
I've been trying to get things handled with my step kids for almost a year. And our caseworker is extremely lazy I've asked for her supervisors number and still have yet to recieve anything.nnDONT WORK FOR CHILDRENS WELL BEING IF YOU DONT TRULY CARE ABOUT THE CHILDREN. SHE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HERSELF.
