Therapy in motion on boardwalk in Norman is the best physical therapy place I have ever been. The staff are very caring and knowledgeable. Cindy is the most amazing therapist. She doesn’t only try to fix your issue she educates you on your injury and teaches you how to help eliminate the problem. This is a very nice facility. We recommend them again and again.

I look forward to going to my PT every appointment. Actually, I wish that I could go every day! Cindy and Adam are coaching me into recovery after the third and last hip surgery. Not only are they both very knowledgeable, it is obvious that they honestly care for my wellbeing. The atmosphere of the entire group is very welcoming and personable. I would feel 100% secure asking for help from any of the Therapy in Motion therapists. I have lived in many locations across the US and have been through many hours of PT. Therapy in Motion is by far the very best!!

Cindy Merrick and her team at Therapy in Motion in Norman are the absolute best.  From the first evaluation with Cindy, I found her to be very compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable.  She was confident that she could help me and assured me that I would get my life back.  I felt like I could be honest with her about my issues and that she truly listened and understood what I had been dealing with for almost a year.  That said, I had been struggling with chronic pain after a life or death ordeal.  I had gone into the hospital for a routine hysterectomy, but the surgery did not go as planned and resulted in an emergency surgery to repair an internal hemorrhage within a twelve hour period.  Two major surgeries in one day left me with numerous surgical adhesion's from my diaphragm to my legs.  These adhesion's were not only extremely painful, but they limited my ability to walk and stand, and also made breathing very difficult with any activity.  I felt off-balanced when I tried to walk, got dizzy when standing or sitting up, and was constantly lightheaded.  I had basically gone from a healthy woman to a woman that was broken and could not even play with my child or cook a meal for my family.  Cindy continued to give me hope and pep talks to help me heal not only physically, but emotionally.  I’ll be honest, the sessions were very painful in the beginning, but each session became less painful as I became more able to perform tasks.  Cindy will push you to do as much as you can as she truly wants to see you get better.  I feel extremely blessed to have found Cindy and her team and I would not hesitate recommending them.  I would also point out that I do not live in Norman and we actually drive almost two hours for each session, but she and her team are worth it.  If you are in pain and have seen various doctors with no solution, I would encourage you to make an appointment with Cindy and see if she and her team can help you get your life back as they are helping me get my life back.  Thank you to the entire team from the bottom of my heart!

I have struggled with headaches for a really long time. I saw many doctors but nobody ever listened to me. So for 7 years, I've been in pain. I started seeing Cindy and immediately started feeling relief. Cindy takes the time to really listen when I tell her what's going on and she works to correct the issue.
