Ground Round at River's Edge

We came here with our extended family after a day on the lake. After receiving water (one short) we waited 30 min to place a drink and food order. We were close to leaving and just writing a review on our glass of ice water. My finance decided to get up and see if our server had also left for the evening. Another server come over after he said something and immediately took our order. My son’s order was incorrect but overall the food was good. Service throughout the meal was attentive. Once we received our check it was again time to play the waiting game. We finally decided to just go up to the counter to pay our bill so we could go home. Entire dining experience took 2 hours, way too long for a casual sit down place. All in all, adequate food with poor service.

Nice outdoor patio. Right on the river. Beautiful views. They allow dogs. They give your pups a water bowl and you can order a hamburger patty for them! Great service!! Brad was awesome! Menu has a lot of variety and drinks are delicious too! You should definitely give them a try when in town.

I told my friends about this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is flavorable and the team is generous and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we enjoy a splendid evening. warmly recommended.

My fiancé and I went out for breakfast on Sunday morning hoping to make a quick breakfast as the restaurant looked to have very few patrons. Unfortunately, that was not the case. First, our waitress allowed us to sit anywhere, but then took forever to bring us a menu. We asked for 2 waters and ordered our breakfast cocktails; to which she brought one water and left before we could say anything. 5 minutes later another waitress brought us our drinks and we were able to ask for our second water. Now 15 minutes of waiting, I had to waive down our waitress with our menus in hopes we could finally order food. When she came to the table, she said “everything fine?”. We were at least able to order our food and straws, but the waitress didn’t ask how we wanted any of our sides or anything else, just took the order and left. She never returned until she brought our food to the table. This waitress appeared either very rude or clueless. 20 minute wait later, she brought our food without the usual items for toast, the wrong side, and missing items requested for in our order. We asked for hot sauce and straws. She brought a small splash of hot sauce and dropped it off as she passed by the table quickly. unfortunately again, our food was cold and she never did bring us the straws we asked for. this was one of our worst experiences for going out to eat. I could not understand whether the waitress wanted us gone, or wanted to leave herself.

Great food and drinks. Friendly staff. No waiting. Everyone is wearing masks and are seated apart from others. Feel very safe here!
