Very helpful made me feel confident that my carburetor is in good hands

A female friend had skinners install a new carburetor on her 1980’s vehicle. Tied the return spring to the brake booster vacuum line with wire. Set the choke too tight so it wouldn’t open completely causing it to fail emissions test. Work was probably done by an employee and not inspected Mr. Frank Skinner before it left shop. I reset choke and adjusted air fuel mixture now it passed emissions fine.
