I'd recently relocated to the area from Baltimore and didn't have a vet yet. My 18 year old cat, Pieces, fell very ill very quickly. All the local places were booked and just told me she couldn't be seen. After calling 5 different places I called here and I'm so glad I did! They were overbooked and only had one doctor on call but they still took her. They expedited the process by getting my info over the phone and when I got there someone came out to check on her. I knew I would need to wait but they were very reassuring and professional and told me to let them know if her condition changed. She was very sick and started to get worse so I called them and they immediately came out to take her inside. Just that gesture made me feel so much better as we had just lost a dog the week before. The doctor did what was needed, didn't try to push me into more procedures or tests and answered all my questions. I received the test results and the meds the next morning. They all went above and beyond and saved my Pieces girl! It's so nice to know they truly care and put the pet's health first and I won't take her anywhere else now.

I love everyone at the Animal Hospital of Pitt County. You are all so caring and accommodating. I would love to thank Dr. Samantha Karl for being one of the most caring and knowledgeable vets that I have ever had the pleasure to interact with as well as Dr. April Wyatt and Dr. Myles Moritz. You are all absolutely wonderful, and you will always be my favorite vets. And, the staff members are always so friendly and helpful. It is so comforting to know that my pets are always in such good hands and will always receive the very best care possible from all of you. Thank you all so much!!

Just love Dr. Eldridge! She's awesome and my dog loves her too. She's very thorough and more than willing to answer any questions I have. Her office staff is very professional and cordial.

Previously went when my 14 year old girl was sick. Ended up putting her down sadly, but one of the vets gave us such comfort in kindly relating the seriousness of her condition. She gave us all the options but strongly had us consider her quality of life. That made me go back with our new pup two years later. They made me feel safe with covid and they gave such care to my girl and me as a new pup parent again.

The whole experience for me and for coco was awesome. I was a little nervous bringing him to a different vet for a second opinion because I didnt know if coco would feel anxious without me around and at a newer place. He seemed happy and excited when he was brought back to me and I could tell he was just fine. The vet tech was very thorough and knowing with asking me questions about coco and making sure everything went smoothly. The visit did not take a long time. Also the phone call with the vet was very informative and also understanding from the vet's point of view. I appreciate the service and communication. Thank you so much for everything! ♡
