Dr. Sanford M. Cates

Dr. Cates’s office is beautiful and state of the art. I really, really thought I found a great dentist. But unfortunately, he overextend himself and somehow a root canal that his team said I needed (1200$ in cash). Magically disappeared with another Dentist. It was a simple filling. I was quoted $89 and somehow because of a panoramic x-ray that was over expose, they charged me an extra hundred dollars. He never has time, ( he wants constantly to reschedule another appointment because my time is not important like his time). A “leaky“ filling (that I took the day off) to have replaced after a cleaning. I was told to make another appointment. Therefore more money. Fantastic bedside manner but very money hungry. I found another dentist, he’s a fantastic dentist, he’s got a great bedside manner and he’s not money hungry. So incredibly disappointed with this dentist.

Very nice folks at this dental practice. They were the only practice open during the holidays, and worked me in (although they were slammed) with a minor dental emergency although I regularly go to another dentist 6 hours away. Dr. Cates, his excellent dental assistant and the front desk folks were extremely friendly and treated me like I was one of their regular patients - much appreciated!

Dr Cates has been my dentist since I was 6 years old or so. Now he sees my daughter's as well as me and my wife. He has a great staff and everyone is very nice and professional. Highly recommend them.

Dr Cates is professional, friendly and has the most compassionate and caring staff that's hard to find. The office is clean, beautiful and cozy. It's easy to schedule appointments and the location is convenient to get to from hwy 220/I-73. It's definately worth the drive from the city. Very impressed with his work.

Dr. Cates, his dental assistants and office crew are by far the best! Never had a dentist/office take better care of me!
