Usually pretty good, last time rolls were loose and overall, not as good and fresh as usual. Not normal, so looking forward to getting back to normal soon.
Went to Volcano today 3/17/21. It was the worst and slowest service we ever have had here. We mentioned 2 times that we had a birthday boy 12th birthday. Nothing what so ever was done or said to him. Spent over 100.00 dollars. I have to say the waiter was terrible and slow to take order and waited close to 20 minutes just to get our drink order. The chef was not personable at all. We tried and tried to have a good time anyway but it was very hard. Really did not even leave a tip but being a former waitress I felt it was only right too, but it was not a high tip for outstanding service.
I was charge a $10 and some change for Five people but I only paid for four and the fifth person paid for himself and still have to pay a tip after I had already paid for five and that is not fair. The service was poor no one came back to the table to check and see was everything good. I will never go there again
Since COVID-19 hit they have increased their prices on the hibachi menu. It's no longer the affordable lunch break it used to be. I've had good or great chefs but not this last visit. The food was good, the waitress was great but the chef wasn't friendly.
From out of town and the locals said this place had good sushi. Got the Smashing Pumpkin, Dream Roll and the American Roll and it was delicious! You won't be disappointed
