House of Heroes Comics and Games

Very disappointed in this place. I came in here one day with my children and a younger gentleman was working and he was very helpful courteous and knowledgeable. We made a purchase and left happily. Unfortunately that is not where it ends. Since the great experience we had the first time we decided to go back a few days later. There was an older gentleman working that day not the younger one that was the 1st day. First off we were never greeted or even acknowledged when we came in. We went to the showcase and asked to look a few items. We were greeted with and eye roll and a sigh and said before even looking that they didn't have any in stock and continued looking at papers. We asked about a few more things and we're given the same response and very rudely without even so much as walking over to where we were looking. I them asked if he though they would be getting them back in stock anytime soon and his answer was that it was too hard to keep inventory straight so they were not planning on ordering anymore anytime soon. My kids and I go out all the time and live to spend money locally instead of at big box retail hut unfortunately the owner here is extremely rude and and lacks even the care or want to make things enjoyable for the customer or try to meet their needs in the slightest. I will never again go back and hope this review helps out others who are looking at one of these type of shops. Luckily there are a few other options right on main St and we will be going there instead.

Not only does this comic book store give me that geeking-out giddy feeling with all the amazing variety of comics, figurines, games, etc., the staff are stand-up people who are always friendly and ready to help you find something you'll enjoy. One of our family's favorite comfort shops to visit and support.

Nice guys that work there. Great selection of TPB. They have a ton. They are always getting new back issues in. Cool toys you don't see anywhere else. Have a kids section even!

Drove an hour and a half from the Milwaukee area to this store because they were the only place that had a copy of a recent issue I was looking for. This store is AWESOME!!! Clean, well organized, and a great selection..Best part was the very large Kids area and selection of All Ages titles they have. I wish all the stores where I live in the Milwaukee area could be this great. Will stop in every time I am in the Oshkosh area.

Best comic book place in the valley. Seems like every title available. Tons of back issues. Books and comics for all ages too. Toys and POPs too. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly too.
