Ask for Jimmy. He is the best- flawless.nHands down, this is the best nail salon in town. Every tech I've received a manicure from was thorough and did exactly what I wanted.

I'm writing this on behalf of my grandparents. They had previously been customers of this business for years but because of Covid they've rarely left their house since last fall (also because of flu season last fall/winter). Because of this, a $50 gift certicate they were given for this business expired. I called the business today to explain the situation, but when I told the guy that answered the reasoning and asked if something could be worked out, he started screaming at me that he wouldn't allow it because he had bills to pay, then hung up. I can understand if they wouldn't accept the gift certificate anymore, but the way it was handled was incredibly unprofessional. You'd expect better service from a business for customers that had exclusively gone there for years prior. If I could give this business no stars, I would've. There are plenty of better reasonably priced nail salons with fantastic staff that do great work in Oshkosh. Some of my personal favorites are Family Nails & Spa and Nails Only on Koeller Street. My grandparents will never be going back to California Nails, and neither will I and everyone else I know. Absolutely horrid.

The moment I walked into this nail shop I was greeting with cold stares. After washing my hands like being asked I was told to HURRY and pick a color then the whole time I’m picking a color I was not seated and they stood around me the entire time I asked if they had a certain color the manger says from across the room to look so I look then I ask can she do this specific style and before the young lady could answer the manager again yells at me no they don’t do that. He didn’t even look ! I asked him if there was a problem and he proceeded to scream at me that’s he’s the manager. I tell him that doesn’t matter I’m a paying customer and that if he was gone be rude I could take money elsewhere. And I left with him screaming what ever he was saying to my back . This was absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever received for absolutely no reason. Very messed up attitude from the manager.
