I was greeted by a friendly girl and asked the COVID questions and took temperature. Once I got in the office it went down hill. Crowded waiting area and NO WAY TO SOCIAL DISTANCE. Three girls at front reception and I stood for 8 minutes while more people came in to stand in back of me. I eventually approached the desk and was CURTLY told to sign in and to sit and wait to be called. No hello, no smile no personality. I did as I was told and tried to find a seat away from everyone. I am immune compromised and this is not the place that I want to be. 10 minutes I get called to desk. I was told my copay was $$. Fill out the forms and give drivers license. I hadn't any services but they took my card and did my copay¡ Again not the least bit cordial or welcoming. Once I got past the awful front office and unfriendly staff the PA was great and professional. Leg still a mess and hopefully I don't get COVID from anyone in that waiting room and give your girls upfront some sugar to help with their SALTY demeanor!

I had knee replacements on both knees and all was going well until I misstepped and tore tissue in my left knee..remind you that all these people seem to be worried about is if the replacements are in tact and they are but told me there was nothing they could do for my scar tissue which is causing me major pain and they won't even do an MRI! FROM THEIR PA. She looked me dead in my face and said there was NOTHING they could do and me being curious did some research and not only can they do something but they do it right there in the office of CAROLINA ORTHOPEDIC! I can't believe the pain that I've been having and being lied to!

Extremely crowded. There is no social distancing. They have seating spaced 4 feet apart. I had a 9am appointment but was told it might be an hour or so delay. I needed to fill out some paperwork but was told I had to wait to even do that. I was not comfortable with the way this facility is running. If you like long waits, crowded germ filled waiting rooms, and pushing your comfort level threshold, this is the place for you. This place is a joke, but don’t my word for it, check for yourself.

Called back more than 30 minutes past my appt time, asked me the same questions they had me fill out on my questionnaire, after about 3 questions I told the girl that I wasn't very happy about waiting that long and I'd given all of that info on the questionnaire. She walked out of the room and slammed the door. Hard! I waited and waited. Then I called my regular doctor and asked the office to transfer my referral to Moore Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. My kids go there for sports injuries and while I hoped to be closer to home, I will travel to Morehead City to have a doctor who respects a patient's time. So an hour after my arrival I was walking out of the door. As I was leaving, the provider was coming in the door. I let her know that I was leaving and that I'm pretty sure they wouldn't see a patient that showed up as late as she had. She said that she most certainly would. She then offered to let me speak with the office manager, as if that would suddenly make anything any better!

Walked out the door an hour after my arrival. Zero respect for their patient's time. I called my regular doctor and asked them to transfer my referral to Moore Orthopedic in Morehead City. That's where my kids have gone for sports injuries and have NEVER had this happen there.
