The counters which Paul of Carolina Soapstone provided and installed look gorgeous. We had spent a month looking at a selection of materials, and after visiting Paul's website and contacting him we settled on soapstone. We visited his showroom, which for us was about three hours distant, and were impressed with the variety of the stone available.nWe asked Paul to distribute the marbling as best as he could for the kitchen and anteroom, result was great.nInstallation was exact, everything fit perfectly, the supports needed for one piece was robust and solid, excellent workmanship, no corners cut here. We've been remodeling our kitchen gradually for the past three years, and of all of the resources who performed work, Paul and crew are at the top. Paul made the entire process of kitchen counter replacement smooth and stress-free. He's the point-person from choosing the stone through installation, so there's no chance of miscommunication due to handing off a project from person to person. I highly recommend Carolina Soapstone for any counter project.
Carolina Soapstone helped us with two custom pieces of furniture and a fireplace hearth - the stone turned out fantastic and their assistance and knowledge was excellent! Definitely recommend these guys and their product!
My countertops are gorgeous! Everything went perfectly. I given an estimate off of my measurements for my budget, Paul measured my counters when he said he would, I was able to pick out my stone at his shop and they were installed in my home 2 weeks after picking out the stone. Paul provided the under mount sink and faucet as well. I only wished that he did other tile work because he has been so wonderful to work with.
Working with Paul was the most pleasant experience. I live in Greenville SC and I was having a difficult time finding the right piece of soapstone. After contacting Paul..... I knew we would be working with him. We corresponded by phone , email and text. I never felt like I needed to travel to pick out a slab of soapstone He choose the most beautiful piece for me ... I couldn't have ask for anything better. Paul is involved in the whole process and takes pride in his work.
