Had insurance with Mr. Gilbert for years and really never had good service from his agency and one of his staff made a major blunder that cost is a bundle. He was asked to make it right but refused repeatedly so I was given no choice but to report him to the NC insurance commission as well as to the district sales office and may end up suing him for damages if it's not resolved. He really doesn't seem to care stating he has plenty of clients to chose from?

I spent so many hours on the phone with several insurance companies leaving each conversation with more questions than before I started. I was at my wit's end when Rosa with Dan Gilbert Insurance came to the rescue. She made everything easy for me! She also uncovered information about my new home that no one had mentioned before. Ultimately, she found us a great insurance option with excellent coverage for a reasonable price. I only wish I had worked with her sooner! Thank you Dan Gilbert Insurance and thank you Rosa! Insurance is so complicated and can be so frustrating; it feels great to have it completely taken care of by trustworthy hands.

Staff was extremely nice and very helpful!! Even Dan was nice and very knowledgeable when he calles back. It's just their prices are too high and expensive for low income families that's looking for affordable insurance. Nothing bad to say about the company at all

After expectations were set very high, it was a pitiful effort by any company. Lack of an attempt to help a client fight to recover damages in an accident that was not their fault. DGI only cares about getting your money, not protecting your interest.
