After dealing with debilitating pain for several years, Cathy Motes have done an awesome job of helping me to find ways to cope with the pain from a condition I have called Myelomalacia. I appreciate her level of care and compassion that she has always shown me. When a patient is in the care of a compassionate, problem solving, possessing genuine respect for and not just brush you off with meds like you are just a number, then I believe that is what creates a better quality of life for myself and I am sure others feel the same way too. Thank you Cathy Motes for caring. The girls in the office and the staff are just as polite and caring as the medical staff they work under. Keep up the good work.

My experience at Comprehensive Pain Consultants in Fletcher was horrible. The doctor helped everyone that came in after me. She literally forgot about me being there. The staff was nice but like myself did not understand why I was not seen. After being there for 2 hours I had to reschedule to go back the following day to be seen by a P.A. I never had any trouble at all before the new doctor joined the practice. She literally forgot about me sitting in an exam room waiting for her. I was very disappointed in the lack of care.

My husband is a patient there and has nothing but good things to say about this practice. They seem to be caring and trying to help him get thru the chronic pain he had been suffering for years. Thank you all!

Dr. Lewis did not prescribe enough pain medicine to last until my next appointment, 30 days out. The prescription was for 20 days. My pharmacist called his office on two (2) different weeks to ask for assistance. The nurse never returned either call. So, I visited the office to explain my dilemma to another doctor and a nurse as Dr, Lewis was not there. They told me his nurse would call me the next day. After three (3) days of NO calls I visited again. They gave me an appointment the next day to meet with Dr. Lewis at 4:00 pm. I arrived on time, waited 30 minutes in the waiting room, and was then escorted by Dr. Lewis’s nurse to a patient room. She stated Dr. Lewis would see me in a few minutes. I watched the clock turn until 5:30pm, an hour later with NO contact and just decided to leave. I find Dr.Lewis and his staff to be INACCESSIBLE, NEGLIGENT, and INCOMPETENT. I will die if I do not find another doctor next week before my meds run out. It’s SAD that no one cares at Comprehensive Pain. I will be leaving the same review with the BBB. There are many pain clinics in South Asheville. DO NOT PICK THIS ONE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!
