Great shop and comfortable for card collectors and Comic collectors! Owner is a stand up guy and a very educated man on everything he sells. Would give 6 stars if I could. Thanks Doug for doing what your doing!
This place was great! My 2, 10-year-old sons found great age appropriate comics. One son spent almost an hour chatting with the clerk and talking all things comics. I really appreciated the clerks willingness to spend so much time talking and helping them. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!
I pre-ordered a CGC Comic and after 6 months I was simply refunded the money without any explanation. there is also no response to my E-mails.nmaybe it's because the value of the comic has increased over the past few months and i am a first time customer...nThe comic is still up for sale but for 3 times the price i payed!nThank you for the great service :)
As comic stores go this one is nice, well organized, and I personally feel like the sound track is worth commenting on! I enjoy that the music that plays in this store is obviously someones genuine taste instead of an orchestrated playlist to appeal to an orchestrated environment. I was in their the other day and I swear I heard rock music and then Beyonce. I personally find it amusing but in the best way possible. Besides that after reading other comments I experienced the same issue as a comic lover that this store does not have back issues, but this is not a huge issue for me and as a result it does make me prioritize putting comics in my pull list, because if I dont, I dont know if ill see it the next time I come. The store has a clear kid section with kid appropriate comics, which is worth mentioning. But overall I enjoy the inclusive nature of the store in general, as an african american it was a nice surprise to see a table of African American comic books set up for February. But also all the workers seem to be very polite and they were even nice when I was accidentally in their past closing. This review is all over the place but I just find so much worth commenting on and I find this to be a really nice local comic store.
Absolutely the best comic book shop in WNC. Great prices, large selection, and willing to go out of their way to order special items! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
