New Testament Baptist Church

I've been involved in a multitude of churches over my Navy and business careers. A lot due to moving around all over this nation in my early business career and then in the United States Navy. Early in my childhood I was raised in the traditional Presbyterian Church USA. No matter where I go in life the experiences I received in my youth are the foundation which help to build my faith to this day. Yes people of Thyatira you did make a difference . I have attended churches from non denominational to just about every denomination you could think of in my 57 years of attending churches. All the mainline denominations like Lutheran , Methodist, also the Pentecostal Holiness , and even Free Methodist, and Wesleyan. And everything from Independent Baptist , to Southern Baptists, not to forget also attended Missionary Baptist. While all of these churches we're good faithful help in my continuing education towards a deeper relationship to Christ. I personally feel that New Testament Baptist has been one of the most inviting churches of all the different Church experiences I've had in my life. Not just some social club that just gets together to meet. Reverend Bob Floyd leads us with his very informative Bible based preaching. Wanda Lowman leads the music with passion . He always preaches that you are not here to make the church better. He wants you to come to church only to develop a better relationship to your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bible-believing churches are not dead they're very much alive here in Lexington on Old Linwood Road. Very Spirit-filled large building with no assigned seats. A very welcoming atmosphere that will make you want to come back. The church is back open and we are having church services . Church offices are open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. but please call ahead to schedule if you need to talk to our church staff. Due to the fact currently the Church office staff is in transition at the moment. Or even if you need to just drop by your tithes and offerings you can do so. Worship services at 11 a.m. And currently you are welcome at any time. We are back in session come to Sunday school at 10 a.m. and a wonderful Spirit-filled worship at 11 a.m. in our sanctuary.
