Jeff Caufield: Allstate Insurance

My initial dealings with Allstate were fine. However I did find their prices a bit high. So naturally I compared and shopped around because not only was it my own policy but my grandmother's as well covering my daughter's vehicle. When I found significantly lower prices with another company and we switched in time we were both sent to COLLECTION by ALLSTATE! UNBELIEVABLE. NEVER USE ALLSTATE!!

I have driven less than 5,000 miles in LESS than a year due to the pandemic lock down and despite comments back to the agent, I have heard nothing about my concerns. A $10 refund across the board is nothing. So I pay over $500 for insurance every six months to have my car sit in the driveway pretty much 24/7. Sounds a little one sided to me. And my I have insurance on my home with Allstate as well.

I really HATE Allstate. I hate their app and their customer service skills. The app is the worst thing ever. You never actually get to speak directly to your agent. Ok, that's not that bad but it takes forever to get an answer to a simple question then they go up on the premium without explanation. I am currently looking into other insurance carriers because I know there is better than this. And it takes days for your payment to come out of your accout so sometimes that can mess things up.

Made a mistake, did not own the mistake, nor tried to fix the mistake. Unresponsive. Lacks integrity. Says they are going to do something and doesn’t do it. If I could give a negative star I would -5 star. Go to a different office.
