I have been going to WNC ear, nose and throat for years. Dr. Pate is an excellent Doctor. His staff is always so friendly and calls you by name and works with you on accommodating you on your schedule. I highly recommend him for you and your family.

that was the biggest waste of 200 bucks... Dr old and cranky didn't help with anything I was having problems with I was in and out with in 5 mins! the only thing good about this place was The girl in the front was nice

Very accomodating to my schedule and happy to help this skittish patient. The doc is from here, has 2+ decades of this work and was direct, thorough and to the point. Front desk initial scheduler Kristy is quite pleaseant and patiently answered my concerns!

Despite the 2 negative reviews on here, I made an appointment for my Mom to see Dr. Pate. I went with her and we had a wonderful experience. Kristi was kind, compassionate and sincere in wanting to help us from the first call to make the appointment until the goodbye when we checked out. His nurse, Carol, was funny, caring and patient when giving her Mom's medical history and meds. And Dr. Pate, even though he comes across dry, listened to everything we wanted to say and told us what treatment plans were available to Mom. He reassured us that it was not anything serious. He isn't the kind of doctor to sugarcoat everything or hold your hand. He is direct with his assessment. However, Mom and I liked that about him. And we liked that to offset his dry personality Kristi and Carol made us feel at ease with their wit and humor. Moral of the story...don't believe every review you read.

05/19/2020 visit was awsome I will recommend to anyone, Dr. Pate was very friendly and knowledgeable to my issues, staff was also friendly and helpful since my insurance was out of network.
