I’ve been very lucky to have a strong supervisor who supported me here, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here as a member of the admissions team. Our department is small, tight-knit, and we take care of each other. Few workplaces can boast that.

I enjoy working at Carolina Dunes. We see very difficult patients and we try to make their lives better. It’s not easy to help everyone but I do believe all of the staff here are doing the best that we can. There are also social circumstances beyond our control that we can’t address.

The first time they were great. The next time they insisted on discharging my kid even tho kid was threatening violence and still harming themself. Did not set up any referrals to another temporary placement like they said they would. I asked what to do and all they said was out the child saftey locks on and bring a friend .Family therapy sessions lacked and child was not encouraged enough to participate. Find another place to take your kid.

I am a teenager and I was at the inpatient adolescent unit for about 1 month. The MHT's, doctors and therapist are amazing! This was my 4th hospital and was definitely the best one yet. If you are looking for a hospital for your child, I definitely recommend this one! You feel safe, cared for and loved when you are there! If you do not get the best results IT IS NOT THE STAFF'S FAULT!!! They do the best they can to help you, but you also have to put in effort. They will not discharge you until they think it is 100% safe for you to go home. So whoever is reading this, Carolina Dunes is a great choice! YOU GOT THIS

My Dementia Dad was released after messing around with his meds and bullying my Mother just yesterday after holding him for only 3 weeks. Now we have a scared Mother, and slashed tires and the house torn to pieces because they evaluated him to be safe. Sent him home with no plan for care. Square one.
