Advanced Physical Therapy Associates

I highly recommend Adam Wirtz for physical therapy. I received treatment there on 2 different issues. He helped me get over the pain quickly, my only regret is that I waited so long to go in. Adam is super nice and easy to work with. He answered all my questions and set me up with a realistic home program. Everyone in the office is so nice and welcoming. You really do get the hometown treatment there from people who care. I will definitely go back anytime I have a need for physical therapy.

The Iola team is fantastic. I’ve had my fair share of therapy visits after having six knee surgeries and I can honestly say that I hands down would recommend Advanced Physical Therapy Associates in Iola. Let’s face it, no one wants to be spending time going to therapy, but the Iola team has a way of making it all feel worth while. They are all pleasant, courteous, and friendly as soon as you step inside the facility. In summer of 2020 I transferred to this clinic after spending nearly a year going elsewhere (for both a different injury and for my most recent knee surgery). My most recent surgery was 6.5 months prior to starting in Iola and I couldn’t even walk without an excruciating level of pain. Partly because I had discontinued therapy for 5 weeks over the spring time and that was my own fault. But I immediately noticed a difference between facilities from where I was originally attending vs in Iola. At the other franchise, the therapists only spend 5 minutes with you, everything else was self-guided with equipment being changed out from the aides/interns. No one was monitoring you & making sure you were doing the exercises correctly & accurately, or to completion; but in Iola, Adam monitored my movement and listened to my explanation of what my joint was feeling like and any changes I had been experiencing, then he modified the exercises accordingly or focused on manual techniques to help alleviate some of the pain. I genuinely and wholeheartedly would recommend Adam and his team. Only suggestion would be that I wish each session was a tad bit longer only because I’m not accountable enough to comply with the home program! ud83dude0a Thank you to Adam for getting me back up on my feet again and moving & grooving!

I had the great fortune of attending therapy in my hometown of Iola at Advanced Physical Therapy Associates. It was such a great experience following my surgery! Everyone involved was kind, knowledgeable and efficient. I had most of my therapy with Adam and a couple sessions with Chris and Kylie - all were fantastic at progressing me along and helping me meet my goals. The added plus was a had to do very little travel during a rough time and bad weather - thank you so much!

Had knee replacement surgery and chose Advanced PT Associates of Iola for my rehab. It was close to my home but the real plus was the friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. My rehab. went great and Adam Wirtz answered all my questions as I progressed through my therapy. Thanks for making my rehab. as pleasant as possible. I will definitely return when I have my next knee replacement.

Adam and staff have always treated me with respect. I appreciate the time they all took to listen to my concerns. Treatment went great. Scheduling and flexibility were terrific. Thanks for getting me back up and moving!!!
