Popps Ferry Causeway Park

I enjoy coming out here. It will be nice when the docks are repaired again after Zeta.nThe sunsets and sunrises are stunning, the fishing isn't bad either!

This isn't our first time out here, but we decided to go late evening - into the night, and we chose the spot underneath the pavilion. I was hoping there would be better lighting, but apparently the solar panels (if that's what I saw) were not lit. The lights on the street were on of course, but it was hard to see on the water.nnIt was nice and peaceful UNTIL a family of 9 showed up, and there went the quietness. ud83dude33ud83dude12ud83dude0annLastly - I kept getting my line snagged on rocks or debris closer towards the peer - it would be great to have that area cleared out little more.

Nice place for a walk. Some boardwalks in need of repair.

Gorgeous area. I caught the one small bass and lost something huge. Had no idea it had a boat ramp too until I was leaving and noticed boats launching. People were fishing everywhere which is great to have so many options to fish from land. Seems like a hidden secret for locals.
