Gulfport Water Department

My experience with the water department and public works has been better than five stars. These folks are knowledgeable and so helpful. Thanks particularly to Sharon at the call center.

Over charging the people. We live in a one bedroom trailer, and the water was off 6days last billing cycle and the bill was over $88. The same as the month before

The girl they have answering the phone right now that has supposedly only been there a week is so rude and disrespectful. I called with a simple billing question and was met with immediate attitude and she ended up hanging up on me when I asked her what her problem was. Service here is so unprofessional.

Customer service at the window is less then average. You would think the employees would have a little gratitude towards the people who keep them employed. I do paperless billing. Never receive a bill. I come to make my payments on time because I refuse to be charged 3.5% to pay my bill online, I have never in 3 years presented a bill to pay but today the lazy, older women working drive through window refused to assist me in paying my bill because I didn’t have a bill.(THAT I DOTN RECEIVE) Mind you I have the account number, the address, the name and everything you need to know to pull my account up, which is exactly what they ask for when you walk in!!! I assume since I was the only customer she had in line this was far too much of a burden. Please do us a favor and speak to the employees! with Covid rules should be bent and employees who have jobs should be grateful.
