This church has an AOG sign out in front, Assembly Of God, which The Gazaway family promoted. This Church has been closed since 2008. It lost most of it's members to other Protestant Churches. The Pastor, Bill Gazaway, started another Church in an old Burrito & taco restaurant in Savannah, Mo.. It never grew in membership & closed in 2010. This Church was an evangelistic type church. The Bill, Robert, Billy, Benny Gazaway families, wives, & their children have moved away from the Nodaway-Holt area. The houses are all sold or have For Sale signs at their entrances. The building belongs to the City of Maitland, Church divisions. It is empty of a nonprofit organization.
