What a great place to get a first-rate engineering education at a rock-bottom price! I majored in civil engineering (2004-2010) and I ended up serving in the military for five years and then joining the US Army Corps of Engineers (the world's largest public works agency) as a civilian engineer. All of my classmates have gone on to launch successful careers in engineering, business, and the armed services.

I think this was the very first building I went to on campus, because it is so amazing. Mostly because I love engineering in general, but also because it is such a happy, thriving place. And now it has a companion to keep it company, the new engineering building compliments it nicely.

Building is a bit older but well maintained and clean. Rooms are easy to find and friendly for guests. Tons of seating area for students and other patrons to sit, and do work. Very spacious common areas that are well utilized. Even had a common area that is specifically designated for those looking for a quiet place to do work.

Truly a unique place. Where else can you find the following: 1.The largest concentration of white new balance sneakers in the continental U.S. 2.The lowest ownership of belts per capita in the northern hemisphere 3. A Little Sleezers/Curry/Hot Pocket fusion funk smell 4. A vending machine that sells Arduinos ....all in the same place. I dare you to find a building more worthy of this honor!! Bask in that ambiance and you'll also get a very good industry focused engineering education if you manage to survive with your GPA intact enough to gain employment. Professors admit that it is built to be more difficult than what you will face in the job market to adequately prepare you. Nonetheless, plenty of excellent Professors who care about you, and growing research opportunities. Plus they just made a massive addition to the old building. Go Cougs!

If you’re a girl who loves little gremlin looking dudes, boy do I have the building for you. No stars.
