Athletico Physical Therapy - Chesterfield

Physical Therapy isn’t the most pleasant thing always but the staff at this Athletico make the best out of it! There is a serious approach to recovery with all the staff and patients while creating a pleasant / fun atmosphere! Everyone from Megan at the front to Sarah and the other trainers are great. 100% recommend.

I had labrum surgery in December 2020 and came to Athletics for my rehab. Everyone there was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and great to work with. I don’t think I could have gotten better post-operative care anywhere else in the St. Louis area. My PT, Brett, was phenomenal and I highly recommend him and Athletico.

Dan Smith does an excellent job helping patients progress. He takes a genuine interest and helps them through each step. Thank you. I would not have done as well on my own.

I recently worked with two of the therapists at this location, and can’t be happier with my results. Daniel Smith worked with my wrist after two surgeries, and was friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He explained each step to me, and told me why each had to be performed in a particular way, to best stretch and strengthen my wrist to speed my healing. He gave me exercises to do at home, again, with explanations of the correct way to do them. I also worked with Sumeet Aggarwal for a concussion, which hadn’t been found for some time. Although he wished that he could have helped me sooner, he stressed the importance of going foreword. He helped me with severe vertigo, and balance, or, in my case, lack of balance. He also explained each procedure, so that I could understand why and what it was improving. Again, I had “homework” with directions on how, what, and why to do each item on the list. Between these two therapists, I feel as if I have a new outlook on my life, and the confidence to do whatever I decide to do. They both explained that I may have times when I seem to stop improving, or even seem to go backwards, and that although these times may happen, I should still strive to go foreword from wherever I am.I had many sessions there, at different times of the day, and could observe the other therapists who also work at this location, and was very impressed with all of them. I heard other patients complain about their doctors, or whatever life was doing to them, but always saw these comments met with a little humor, sometimes, but always with compassion and a huge dose of encouragement!! Everyone here, including the office staff, was always cheerful and helpful. I would encourage anyone who needs physical or occupational therapy to try to get worked into the schedule here!! I can’t possibly thank these people enough!!

I am so happy I found this Athletico! After four months of physical therapy for a frozen shoulder, I am happy to say that I am pain-free and using my shoulder in all of regular life. I am grateful to my physical therapist Sumeet Aggarwal for being patient and knowing exactly what I needed -- starting slow, knowing it would take several months, encouraging me to exercise my shoulder at home, and always working with me with a smile on his face! I highly recommend this particular Athletico location. Easy to get to off Hwy 64/40. Pleasant staff, plenty of appointment times, positive atmosphere. 5/5 stars!
