Update: Staff continues to provide the highest degree of professionalism while still being very personal (and funny) and attentive to the minute details that are progressing my hand healing forward. Jeff, Avery and Krista are the best. The PT staffs also compliments the OT Hand therapists as well. been to a lot of other therapy places in STL - Apex is top notch.nnThe staff is amazing. Jeff, Avery, Krista, Chase, Erin and Laura and the rest of the staff are very knowledgeable and look to push harder when appropriate. They actually had a huge impact on my hand and finger function coming back after accidental amputation.nnUpdate: The staff has not missed a beat since one member is out. Avery is so thorough made additional forward progression with my injury. Glad she, Krista and the rest have been able to step up and keep the level of service intact. Seriously, cannot thank them enough.

First of all, Apex PT in Ballwin is amazing! It’s super clean and they utilize their space that will optimize your therapy while providing a comfortable space, friendly staff and incredible therapists!!!!nnI’ll start with Shecana. My first appt I had the pleasure of meeting Shecana, until she said, we will start on the treadmill. Um NO I said firmly, my drs won’t let me!! Well Shecana beautifully and calmly (I wasn’t for I’ve had 2 back surgeries) said it’s ok let’s just try it. Ok, I felt I should trust her. She taught me how to properly walk without pain and IT WORKED!!!! I have kept Shecana as my PT and I’ve done so much better in a quicker time period. She has taught me so much, it’s truly amazing. She tenderly pushes me, encourages me and assures me it’s for my benefit and it sure has been!!!! She is very knowledgeable and applies what she knows to make my body function properly. I would not be where I am now without Shecana. Of which I say, THANK YOU SHECANA with my whole heart! If you need PT, my recommendation is to ask for her! Oh, I’m even excited to do my exercises at home! That’s a first!)nnNow to Jeff my OT (occupational therapist). What can I share about Jeff, first appt he made me a brace that I wear at night and it helps a lot! I ordered one for the day and Jeff fit it properly to my hand, thumb. He is extremely gentle, knowledgeable, funny and personable! This is my first time ever in OT and I’m so fortunate to have Jeff help me! He gives great exercises for home that I enjoy doing! Received the best care at the Ballwin facility! Every staff member was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They genuinely care about your success and progress. Would definitely recommend this place!
