Athletico Physical Therapy - Brentwood

I’ve had physical therapy many times over the years and have tried a variety of places for convenience (closer to home or the office) but I keep coming back to Athletico-Brentwood. The physical therapists are there to make sure you are doing the exercises, stretches, activities correctly and ensure you are working the correct muscles. Everything is explained well so you understand what you have to do to get better. And everyone in there makes you feel like you are part of their team. This last time I worked with Kevin. He was always patient with me and made me glad to be there - even when I would have liked to be anywhere else.

I came to the clinic with such painful tendinitis in my elbow that I was unable to lift a coffee cup without pain. I was so discouraged as this had become a chronic issue for me. My physical therapist Kimberly Brewer immediately began a program of stretching and strengthening for the affected tendon. She was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. She encouraged and assured me as I worked with her each day. She gave me clear direction regarding the exercises I was to do at home. I diligently followed her treatment plan. I was able to regain strength and function of the affected elbow, and very happily report that I am now pain free. Kim completed my care and discharged me from the clinic with a clear plan to continue strengthening and stretching in order to avoid recurrence of this issue. I wish there were six stars for Kim and the clinic!

I just finished many months of rehab for a rotator cuff surgery. The staff was amazing, professional and made me feel welcome every time I walked in. They knew my name after the first visit. The ladies at the front are top notch! Thank YOU! The assistants that constantly followed us around and cleaned and kept us healthy during this crazy time. Lastly and most important my physical therapist Dan was far beyond my expectations. I’m actually sad he did such a good job and I don’t get to hang with him 2x week anymore. Dan was very patient, motivational and professional. I couldn’t have had a better experience. If you are in a tough spot and want a kind person to help you get back on track and through the dark times of a recovery I HIGHLY recommend Dan at the Brentwood Athletico.

I received treatment with Kevin Buhr at Athletico/Brentwood for injuries I sustained from a car accident. Kevin provided exceptional care and helped me to understand my treatment process every step of the way. Kevin communicated with me weekly about my recovery progress and gave me strategies for at-home care as well. I was appreciative of Kevin's flexibility with my logistics, he was flexible when I missed an appointment or needed to reschedule. When I needed to switch locations he kindly and walked me through the process. Kevin has a good start to finish approach with treatment. Kevin has been a silver lining in my accident recovery process. Highly recommend.

Great facility with great professionals on duty to help anyone who needs physical rehab. With my arthritic shoulder causing me pain and limited motion, I was referred to Athletico in Brentwood, very near my home. Dan Travers worked with me for several sessions.
