I had a good experience here with Dr. Shapiro. They have the latest equipment, short wait times and fast appointments (perfect for a lunch break). Might be a little pricey if you do not have dental insurance.

Rude and unprofessional front desk girls. I don’t feel these people are trustworthy. They are after your money sad to say. I would never come back or recommend them lots of fees. Never again

I was charged for a fee to cancel an appointment due to potential covid exposure. When I called back to advise why I would not be returning the receptionist was extremely rude and argued with me, claiming something not true and acted as if I was lying. I will NEVER return and a shame because I liked the dentist and hygienist just not the unprofessional and ugly front staff.

I’d like to say that the customer service at this office is great but if you’re wanted to find a great orthodontic or dentist office, I say look else where. I think the majority of orthodontists are so concerned about straightening the teeth they simply forget about the whole picture. I went here in hopes to correct my bite but in the end I received a jaw that didn’t even close properly. I wished Dr. Wasson would have given referrals instead of leading me on the entire process. If you’re a parent with a child, please do yourself a favor and look into orthotropic dentists. They consider not only teeth alignment and straightening but they more importantly consider the patients posture of the face, neck, and tongue to achieve more aesthetic results of the entire face and mouth. They can achieve this without extractions or pulling back the jawline which eventually happens with braces and Invisalign due to the pulling force of the appliances. This process is long but helps in the patients in the long run to keep good habits of the jaw and tongue. With orthotropics, patients also experience better breathing and fewer allergies. Patients should be breathing completely through the nose instead of the mouth. With braces you shrink your palate which has a direct relationship to the size of your nasal cavities and the space your tongue has in your mouth. If you shrink your palate, you shrink your breathing potential. Orthotropics actually helps people with sleep apnea and allergies. I could go on and on. I wish I didn’t have to drop thousands of dollars at this office to get nowhere. I don’t believe it’s their fault but they need to broaden their scope of practice bc it’s outdated and a disservice to the patients. Soon orthotropics will be the norm AGAIN. It’s even being talked about in the news and big podcasts. Hope this helps someone in the future.

One star for covid related procedures. You pay a $75 “no show fee”. Yes I realize that 3 hours is probably not a lot of time for a cancellation, however there is nothing in the confirmation text calling it a late cancellation fee. However the confirmation text says to follow local covid regulations during a pandemic. You would think a healthcare provider would have better processes in placennThe front desk reasoning is that the hygienist will be sitting around with nothing to do during that block of time. I guess that means the hygienists are hourly and not salaried, but I don’t know what that means.
