Francis Howell North High School

My first day was June 1st and when I walked in there were a bunch of police officers in the main lobby. I went to my first class and the teacher was also a police officer. I thought that was kinda odd but didn’t think too much of it. There were 6 other kids in my class. We only did one worksheet a day and we got free lunch which was nice. It was a grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, and either an apple or a banana every day. That was amazing because i like all of those. It got kinda repetitive tho. After lunch we went to the gym with about 20 other kids (which looked kinda sketchy in my opinion). There were 2 basketballs and we played for 20 minutes until we had to go back to our holding area. We were there until the 3:00 when the bus picked us up. The bus kinda looked like one that carries prisoners to and from places instead of one of those school buses. All in all, it’s a little better than jail but not by much. At least in jail you can talk to others and have a little more variety for meals. I rate it 3/5 stars.

Decent school, but a little gross because the resource officer wears the same thing everyday!

I graduated here in 2016. I have to say that the educational side of Francis Howell North was outstanding compared to the school I transferred from. The teachers and staff that helped me along the way were very good at what they do, especially Mrs. McPartland, Mrs. Kerr-Grant, Mr. Fettig, and Mrs. Coil. Topic lectures were very memorable, educational, and enjoyable, and have helped me succeed in college and life. There were some social and drug issues with my classmates, but nothing that made me feel unsafe or unwelcome. I really enjoyed going to Francis Howell North; I wouldn't have traded it for any other school!

My youngest son just graduated from this school. He was only there a year but the faculty and staff were excellent.
