CVS Pharmacy

Ever since this pharmacy was taken over by CVS it has been nothing short of a hassle to pick up our prescriptions. Went the other day to get my husbands script, which had been sent by the doc three days prior. I even woke up early to get it before work. Nope, they can’t fill it, it’ll be an hour before I can get it. So I call my job and tell them I’ll be late. My husband calls because the pharmacy called HIM to confirm that I was allowed to pick this up. This wasn’t a problem before we were married. Then the Doctor calls me because the pharmacy called HIM to confirm, all the while I’m waiting in the Schnucks lot for that hour to pass. An hour passes and I go through the drive-through again, only to be told that it’ll be another 45 minutes before it’s ready. I call my job again to tell them I’ll be even later for work and to reschedule some of my clients. My husband needs this medication to be able to do his work. With my hours being cut due to Covid, we need all the hours we can get to pay our bills. Now due to CVS, we have collectively lost almost three hours of pay, which adds up. I will be going out of my way to change pharmacy so I never have to deal with this again.

The grocery part of the store is great. We NEVER have any issues. The PHARMACY PART IS A JOKE!!! Every single time I go in there I have some issue or another. Their customer service skills definitely need checked.

Since this pharmacy was taken over by CVS it's been a disaster. They have screwed up refill requests countless times, have misplaced prescriptions and have treated us like we're the ones causing the problem. Would not recommend this CVS or any CVS as a pharmacy to send your business.

I love Schnucks but the pharmacy at the Lindenwood store has serious customer service issues. Pretty much every time I need to pick one up there is some issue. I wait and wait and have even been ignored.

Awful experience! Physician sent order to Schnucks Pharmacy on a Monday. It is now Friday and still can not get medicine. Physician called insurance and was notified that no pre authorization needed. Now pharmacy will not fill prescription due to computer stating the need for authorization. Called insurance and found it was Express Scripts keeping pharmacy from filling prescription due to a policy. I was told I can pay out of pocket if need be. The procurement of prescription being filled is arduous with everyone playing doctor. I have been on this prescription for 10 years without any deleterious effects.
