I give you zero stars for taking the benches out, so that the homeless folks nearby can’t sleep on them. Good thing you have that coatrack outside. You never want to come off too Christian.

I have been a member of St. John for many years. This place feels like home. When I first started attending St. John, I hardly knew anyone. Now, I consider many of the people to be my friend. We offer many opportunites to learn, have fun and serve others. Come check us out!

Many churches claim to be friendly places to worship. We take it a step further and believe in the extravagant welcome of all God's children and in the unique gifts that each person has. We house the homeless and feed the hungry. We try to help each member to discover the spiritual gifts God has given them, and discover how to use their gifts to serve God. We believe in nurturing spirituality, and helping people find a spiritual path. We seek to be a bridge between people who need help and people who want to find a way to help others. We seek to be a place of healing for people who have been hurt by faith in the past. We are a safe place for people who have lots of questions and who are wary of being forced into believing somebody else's interpretations. Worship is at 9 and 10:30, with programs for children at 10:30. We also have Wednesday evening programs.

St. John is a family friendly church that welcomes everyone! It offers great programs for kids and teens and many opportunities to volunteer.

Beautiful church inside and out. It is one of the prominent landmarks in the area. Great staff, active in the community and services are special.
