The fishing isn’t always the greatest but it’s a large concrete pier, a pleasant tree park, with picnic tables and barbecues. There are great sunsets. Parking fee is now $2.50 an hour and currently the pier closes at sunset unless you are using the boat ramp.

Pros: Nice fishing pier, great view of the BaynnCons:n1. Start as July 1st, park closes at 7 pm no longer 24 hoursn2. $2.50 per hour parking(no daily pass) such n inconvenience when you're trying to fish and remembering when to run to replenish the parking meter. $50 meter violation was issued for 10 minutes expired time. Sucks to catch no fish and pay a fine

Parking fee is too high. It used to be 10$ for whole day. Now 2.50$ for per hr.

Nice public pier wide and very long. Went crabbing here and used traps, not very conducive for using hand lines. Only negative is parking fee is $2.50 per hour!
