Cross Island Trail Trailhead

Nice trail for family and friends to enjoy the fresh air and enjoy the views of old Kent Island, Maryland the land that used to be nothing but Farmers and Waterman and small Grocery stores. It's hard to believe but at one time Everyone on Kent Island used to know each other, every family knew every other family on the entire island!! That's when Kent Island was at it's best capt'! I wish I could of seen it b4 it was destroyed basically by all the Chicken neckers that came from western shore like Annapolis, Glen burnie, baltimore, Washington, and else where. Sorry very passionate about my eastern shore history and preservation. God Bless !!!

8 mile trail. Most of which is freshly paved. Great for walking, biking or skating. Plenty of natural beauty to take in.
