Level a small plates lounge

We had a great meal as always at Level. If you are undecided about what food you want this is a great place to go, share, and enjoy. We shared seven different dishes. I am always impressed with the quality of the food and the speed of the service. When you order items they come much faster than you would think! Thank you!

So far I've only been here once. The atmosphere was very inviting and Tony was the best! He knew the menu by heart and had excellent suggestions. Only reason I'm rating a 4 is because it's my first time. I will be back to see if it is still a high standard my next go around in March 2021. Thank you Tony!!!

Level has been our favorite date night restaurant in Annapolis for years. They have consistently tasty and creative food for sharing and a menu that always has a few reliable favorites (like fried brussels, and milk and warm cookies) and new/seasonal options that you can trust will be good. Their menu is small but well-rounded, so you can bring a meat eater and a vegetarian and they'll both be happy and find something worth sharing. They also are mindful of incorporating ingredients from local farms, so you can enjoy what's freshest and in season. Their cocktails are reliably good, and I appreciate that they have homemade ginger soda and mocktails for folks who don't drink. It has a warm and sophisticated but not overly fancy atmosphere -- jackets and ties are optional, but definitely no t-shirts, and not a place I'd bring kids. The servers are friendly and efficient, and they're nice about accommodating dietary preferences (like holding the pork) when the dish allows. They welcome walk-ins but we tend to make reservations on weekend nights when things can get crowded.

Stopped to relax from all our touring, the Level Gimlet was great! We're did not eat anything but the food looked great. Everyone was so friendly.

Absolutely fantastic. The service was great, and the food and drinks were out of this world. You can't go wrong with the gimlet-- it's their signature drink-- but I also highly recommend the Cucumber Westside for something a little different but equally light and delightful. I enjoyed the leafy greens salad and the catch of the day- an almond dusted trout fillet with roasted golden beets and a peach creme fraiche. Hubby ordered the crab cake (lots of meat, hardly any filler) and bay frites (perfectly golden and crispy, with Old Bay ketchup). Lots of gluten free options. Great experience all around.
