Perryville High School

I would say the only thing worse than the crumbling infrastructure of this outdated school building is the attitude of some of the residents and/or parents/grandparents of this school district. Exclusivity and segregation is still a concept that is greatly missed by these below the Mason-Dixon line living inhabitants, which unfortunately is a rhetoric that just keeps being passed onto the following generations. I would say, without a doubt, that the biggest weakness this school has is the hateful hearts of the people that surround the area. This school and entire district appeal to the lowest common denominator.

My niece attended PHS last spring because she was not doing well in Baltimore. Perryville teachers gave her extra attention and tutoring. They turned a failing child into an honor roll student. At her old school there were up to eleven fights a day. In the three months she was at PHS I don't recall the mention of any fights.
