Rite Aid Pharmacy

Be aware of this rite aid pharmacy. I had to pick up my mother's prescription that I've bought for her before, and the pharmacy not only told my mother that the same medication that I bought before that was covered at a $0 under her same insurance is now not Covered, and the non covered price would be $150, without her discounted prescription card, now with the discounted prescription card it would be $33. So I went to the pharmacy to pick up this same prescription medication and was told by the pharmacist that the medication is not Covered, and the price would be $33 using the discounted prescription card. I asked the pharmacist why do I now have to pay for a medication that was at $0 before under the same insurance card that I used for this medication in the past? The pharmacist stated that with this particular medication it happens like that sometimes. I raised my eyes in the air after he stated that to me and walked away from him, because I was going to call my mother's insurance Co. The next day. Now I then arrive home and was met at the door by my mother, and she says, the rite aid pharmacy called and said that, they didn't know who just came up to pick up your prescription, but the prescription is now free! At $0. YES I KNOW THIS! So for anyone out there who has visited this pharmacy and had either the same experience I had. Please contact your insurance company to see if the medication is covered. Because I truly believe there trying to get over on people who are in need of there medication. And if someone has paid full price on a covered medication, go get your money back. This was definitely not a mistake on there part. This happened on three different occasions.
