This was our first visit. My mom needs a neurologist for her Parkinson's. Her former neurologist is too far away to continue visits, so her primary care doctor referred us to Dr. Kassa. He was extremely polite and kind, and took the time to answer all our questions. My experience over the last 3 years as a caregiver has been frustrating at best when it comes to the medical field. Most have treated my mom like she is on her death bed because of her age, and the only answers we normally received, was yet another medication. Dr. Kassa is one of the first to truly show concern and desire to help. When we left his office after our visit, my mom stated she really did like him a lot. That is a rare thing for her to vocalize. Thank you Dr. Kassa!

He was no help what so ever. All he could suggest was pain management, no thanks. I have lesions on my MRI, but all he could tell me was what he didn’t think it was. Definitely seeking a second opinion. Don’t waste your time or money on this guy. I give the office staff a five though.

I just visited this doctor today 4/12/19 as a new patient. I was told that nothing was wrong with me and that my issues may be physiological. The doctor never introduced himself and told me that my mri's were fine. I'm sorry but I have all one sided numbness on my body and an area on my brain that was seen on my mri. Sure that sounds like nothing. I will never see that doctor again and not recommend. He got rude with me as soon as I started asking questions regarding my mri's. I do not understand how I waited an hour to see the doctor when I was the only patient there to see him also.

I've been having to go to bel air to see a neurologist there after Dr mamood left. It has been a complete hassle getting them to send prior authorizations and prescription refills in so I thought it made sense to see the new neurologist at Union since I live in elkton. I disliked the guy right away. He literally made me feel like I didn't have multiple sclerosis or epilepsy. He doubted the fact that I had a spinal tap done because he didn't have all of my records. Very dismissive, arrogant, impatient, and rude. I'll be staying with Harford neurology and all of the chaos that comes with it before I'll allow someone to treat me like a third class citizen.
