The Movement Science Center

Initial eval performed by Troy Bourgeois who was skilled, professional, and exceptionally personable. I am doing home exercises for now but will return in the near future.

I got no results from this place and I think the website is basically lying to you. My problem was complicated so I thought this is a good place to go. the website talks about how they do lots of advanced techniques. But they don’t. They just do the same basic stuff any physical therapist would do. If you just need some stretches or needling or basic exercises you can go here (or YouTube). There are better physical therapists at city park and physiofit that will look at your body and how you move. go there insteadif you need really good physical therapy. This place was a waste of time and money and ended up making me think I would never get better.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor/ therapist. Two people worked with me including the doctor and the specialist and they couldn’t be better. They quickly diagnosed my leg length difference, and more importantly talked me through all the issues related to it. I was promptly treated and I am ongoing treatment. I highly suggest the movement center.

After suffering atrophy in my foot from a bad break, I had a leading medical institution (Ochsner) manage my Physical Therapy and after months passed with 3 different PT's I was not happy with the progress. I was not able to walk and at my wits end, I asked for a second opinion, so off I went to that Orthopedic Surgeon at Ochsner who recommended I go to the Movement Science Center. After the initial consultation before Christmas, I have been to 3 sessions and am walking again. The staff are amazing and friendly, thorough and focused on getting you healed, not how much money they can take off you. Not to mention the cost of treatment is way cheaper than the horrible service you get a big named PT's. I had 4 months of wasted therapy at Ochsner and in a couple weeks at the Movement Science Center, I can walk again. PLEASE make sure you look at MSC before you choose another PT. You may also save yourself from needing surgery too! I was told I may need it but I did not need it! Don't waste your time anywhere else!! MSC are fantastic and you will walk away feeling extremely satisfied with your healing!

Our entire family has seen one PT or another st MSC over the years. The entire team treats my 87 yo mom with compassion and TLC. We can’t thank you enough and can’t recommend you more highly! Thanks for all that you do!
