I am a new patient of Dr. Palopoli and wished I had seen him two years earlier. After an extensive and very thorough visit Dr. Palopoli recognized my nerve injury immediatley and attended to my needs and concerns with compassion and attention like none other. I highly recommend Dr. Palopoli not only for his bed side manner but his attention to detail and concern for his patients.

After a serious car accident in 2017, I have suffered with severe low back pain. My family physician was unable to help me so I saw a very well respected orthopedic surgeon. He spent very little time with me and did a very limited physical exam. He ordered an MRI of my thoracic spine and then recommended a series of “wave” therapy treatments that would require multiple visits to his office and cost thousands of dollars.nnI then heard about Dr. Palopoli and his reputation for thoroughness and conservative management and made an appointment with him. I am 80 years old and have been seen by many good doctors over my life time, but Dr. Palopoli is at another level. He carefully listened to me and then asked many questions. He then did one of the most complete physical exams I have ever had. He then spent over 30 minutes educating me about lumbar spine anatomy and possible causes of pain. He explained how my back pain was most likely secondary to lumbar facet joint arthritis and inflammation and that the previous thoracic spine MRI was not indicated nor helpful. He saw no wisdom in ordering an MRI of my lumbar spine because I had no nerve damage and did not require surgery. He recommended conservative management with emphasis on physical therapy. Currently, I am nearly pain free and without the expense of additional testing or expensive medical office treatments.nnI am very grateful to Dr. Palopoli and give him my highest recommendation.

I went and saw him back in 2016, for a nerve conduction study. I was diagnosed with ALS back in March 2015 and I started having symptoms in November 2013. Every doctor I went to after my diagnosis kept saying it was ALS.but when I went to see Dr. Palopia he took his time and examined me from head to toe and then he did the test on me for the nerve conduction study we spent about three hours in his office. He sat there and listened to everything I had to say without cutting me off. we discussed my test and he came up with the diagnosis of spinal muscle atrophy(SMA). after being diagnosed with ALS for five years now all of a sudden the doctors that diagnosed me with ALS are you saying that I have SMA now. dr John Palopia answered it right on the head the first time.

I highly recommend Dr. Palopoli. He is super thorough and informative and educated me on the how’s and why’s that pertained to my diagnosis and testing he was performing. His staff is amazing. He is also very witty/funny and definitely calmed my nerves under the circumstances of the testing I was undergoing.

Dr John was referred to me by Dr Susan Ovello for pain management. Been going to various ENT Dr’s in NC and LA for severe ear pain. Dr John suggested that pain management through pills was not the answer so he sent me to an ENT specializing in surgery After a biopsy and CT scans it was determined that I had stage one throat cancer. So glad for his choice of Dr’s. Now I’m awaiting treatment that will hopefully resolve the issue
