RUDE. I'm already taking a medication for adult ADD and wanted to switch doctors. This office was recommended to me so I called. I wasn't even allowed to finish my sentence - as soon as I said the name of my prescription, the receptionist cut me off and told me that they were not accepting anyone new, and that people with ADD were better off seeing a psychiatrist.nnI cannot believe that a physician's office would subscribe to the ridiculous notion that ADD is a psychiatric disorder that can be cured by a few hours on a couch. An obvious display of their lack of knowledge on the subject. Seek medical advice elsewhere, from physicians who are actually knowledgeable.
