Tammany Trace

The Tammany Trace is always a good experience.nIt is nice for a couples get away or for a whole family.nRight now you cannot go all the way to the end because there is some construction going on to make the trace safer for bicyclist's .nBut there are plenty of opportunities to have a beer or something to eat on the trace.nJust to mention the Broken Egg or the Rusty Pelican or the Anita Pub or the Abita Brewery.nAll of them are super nice.

Beautiful, especially in the spring. Hill-free biking/walking meandering ~30 miles through parks & quaint towns. Note- no pets are allowed, even on a leash.

Perfect for bicycling. No motorized vehicles allowed and relatively low traffic. Just a few major roadways to cross and very flat terrain are big pluses for bikers.

Great time to be had on the Tammany Trace! If you stop by the location on Koop Drive, you can even explore the play area and kids museum.
