Very fun. The only thing was that many kids wanted to fight each other and my friends. Besides that, I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for this summer. I keep a stack of everything including books, bracelets, and many more store items. Adults... send your kids. They will thank you when they get back.

Here only for an instructor workshop but it is a really nice camp for the Louisiana 4-H youth. Nice facilities for lodging, eating, learning, and shooting sports. Lots of activities and opportunities for the youth to enjoy.

I love going to this camp! I went for 5-6 years as a camper and 3-4 years as a Camp Counselor! I see someone might have complained about the pool wait hours, its just that they have to make sure everyone was at there post and the lifeguards were ready! Plus it probably wasnt really 1 hour it could have 10-15 mins because to some kids it feels longer and they dont know the time. I felt the same way when i was young! Anyways this camp is so much fun and so many things to do! I never got tired of it!

Review for an old experience: This is not recent. This is for years ago. I went to 4-H camp just for one year and I had mixed feelings about it. And it didn't start well, due to other reasons. I lent out a few things to other campers and nearly didn't get them back. Had set my food down at one meal, walked off briefly, and returned to my meal missing and most likely in the trash. There were other issues, and I did have fun in some cases. They get annoyed if you don't pay attention during some announcements or whatever it was. I also was bullied a bit during one instance by some older girls who wouldn't leave me alone UNTIL I walked away and sat somewhere else. Told the lady in charge, but nothing happened.nnI was so happy when the time came to go home. My parents were told that I acted a bit homesick. That may be partially true, but it didn't help with what happened during my experience at that camp. I would attend GA (Girls in Action) camp for my last two years in elementary school.nnIf they want to experience 4-H camp, let them. Maybe they'll enjoy it. If they don't, that's ok.

My kids both went my son was picked on and had things stolen, he asked to call home when he had an asthma attack and was told no. He was ok but he still should’ve been allowed to call me if he wanted to. There are way to many kids and not enough tracks for the amount of kids that are there. Either add more tracks or reorganize the program so more kids get a chance to do things like ride four wheelers which is one of the best attractions at this camp. Kids shouldn’t have to wait over an hour to get in to pool. I paid $400 for both my kids to go and neither were very impressed. It was $200 a piece plus I gave them $20 a piece to spend in the gift shop and my son had his lamb stolen from him. My son did make a few friends and so did my daughter my daughter did like the talent show and the dance my son said the only thing he liked was fooseball and he kind of liked canoeing and tubing. This camp needs some improvements accept less kids at once or be able to accomadate more kids at one time
