Alexandria Riverfront Amphitheater

I made money playing Trumpet Street Performing at Convention Hall at the blues and denim event the riverfront was packed with smells BBQ and people where in a festive mood and tips float easily

It was a perfect night, it wasn't hot and no rain, plenty of places to sit, wasn't comfortable, but you need to bring a cushion. Plenty of food vendors, other vendors and great music from the Mollyringwalds singers!nI received a drumstick from the drummer, a real great experience. Ordered lemon juice and alcohol. A hamburger, it was really good.

NOTHING BUT BUMMS SLEEPING EVERYWHERE AND SKETCHY LOOKING PEOPLE ON BICYCLES THE WEEKENDS! NO COPS OR ANY TYPE OF SECURITY. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BRING KIDS. WE THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO GET ROBBED.HARD TO BELIEVE THAT A CITY WOULD SPEND ALL THIS MONEY TO FIX UP AN AREA SO NICE AND JUST LET THIS HAPPEN.

Normally a local homeless hangout spot but very cool place to go when they have events.

Peaceful and relaxing place to spend time by yourself or with someone else.
