Very upset with my experience here. I felt like I had a good relationship with this office... going there off and on for years. I had insurance at points, and at other times I had their “in-house insurance plan where you pay an annual fee”...I got a new insurance company through a new job. I had a crown that needed to be done, and billing woman ASSURED me that my new insurance has indeed kicked in and she even ran my insurance to confirm with me that the procedure WILL INDEED be covered. Long story short, it was NOT covered, after she assured me it would be. She even admitted later that the paperwork that the insurance company sent over to them had a “benefit start date” which was discovered to be AFTER my procedure date and she accidentally didn’t notice it. From the beginning of this mess she would always say “oh don’t worry about it, your not gonna get stuck with the bill”..... well I did. And the whole experience left a Very bad taste in my mouth. I felt like I had a much better relationship with them when I really didn’t. I was so upset over the way she handled my insurance mess up, I vowed to never go back. I hardly ever leave bad reviews for a place, but I felt the way she handled me was EXTREMELY unprofessional.... especially after how “valued” as a patient that I supposedly was. Me and my family have been using them for years (like I said off and on). She went back on her words and left me to pay a large bill that was supposed to be covered from the jump (or I would’ve never had the procedure, I would’ve just waited until my insurance kicked in).nnI kept calling and calling trying to get it sorted out, and each time she would just assure me “I’m not gonna get stuck with the bill”, since she promised I would be covered and messed up confirming my insurance. I wrote a two page letter detailing how upset I was over the way I was handled, and how I was misled for almost a year. Went to go hand deliver the letter to the dentist myself, sat in the parking lot for about 15 minutes and decided “SCREW IT!”, I’m just gonna go on with my life and count this as a major loss. Loss of trust in a dentist and loss of finances. I was more happy than anything to just be done with it all, than to fight my case and try to get justice. They lost my business forever, and whenever people ask me about them (which I used to recommend to LOTS of people.... and they were aware of this)..... now I tell them a COMPLETELY different experience.nnI know this is a long rant, but god.... that’s how frustrating this whole ordeal was!!! And to think.... it would’ve been so easy for them to avoid this, or to right their wrongs.... oh well, some business don’t care at all about their reputation.

Everyone is always nice to us here! My experience has always been one of very satisfied. His fillings have held up great over the years too. That makes me feel comfortable with driving from out of town now since moving because I've been going to him for several years now.

The hygienist was very gentle and understanding, but when time came to insert my filling, the quality of care plummeted. I am a very anxious dental patient, and he did not have a gentle hand when injecting the numbing agent, nor did he have patience or understanding when I was tearful, needed minutes to rest, or have my chair elevated so that I did not choke on my own saliva. I also noticed a random guy with a smug face (who did not appear to be an employee) peering in at me from time to time, which made me extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, the filling is so big that it is further damaging my tooth and it now needs to be removed and a crown put in its place. Lastly, the receptionist made me feel inadequate until i got private insurance. If I move back to Louisiana, I will not be coming back here.

I have insurance, they wait until I have paid my share for a crown, than tell me they did not take my insurance, I have been having a temp crown for a month now they want me to pay the rest of the payment. I will not do that. This is not the denist for me and my family.

too bad for me, filled too much for a cavity which affected my other teeth after several weeks!!!
