Me and the family spent 3 nights at the cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and nice. The property is BEAUTIFUL! My kids had a blast fishing, playing basketball, riding bikes and running around the huge piece of property.nnThe pond holds tons of bass and bluegill. We caught and release over 50 fish during our stay. The biggest Bass being roughly 4 pounds. The land is very well maintained so there is ample area to fish from the bank of the pond. There is also a small aluminum boat to use if you would like to. Recommend using small swimbaits, jigs and spinnerbaits for bass with conventional tackle. If you fly fish (which this pond is designed for) streamers and poppers produce.nnThe layout of the pond is setup as a fly fisherman’s paradise. The entire pond is 4-5ft deep with one section that dips to 7ft deep and another section in cypress trees that is 2-3ft deep. I graphed the entire pond with my kayak and located plenty man made brush piles/fish attractors. If you have a garmin unit the topographical map will be uploaded to the community maps.nnThere is a very picturesque view off the back porch of the cabin over looking the property to the pond. Get out there in the morning sip your coffee and take it in.nnThis property is a 20 minute drive from Lake Chicot and also Crooked Creek reservoir.nnBring food or you will have to drive 15 minutes to Oakdale where there are grocery stores and your typical small town fast food joints.nnThe property also features a carport to put your boat under if you bring one with you.nnHighly recommended to get away from the busy world we live in today.

A STORMY WEEKEND......This was our third consecutive yearly visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. We caught and released several bass, even though a strong storm system came through on our first night. The cabin was clean as usual. We enjoyed the outdoor grill on both evenings. Very peaceful. Lots of fun.
