I am proud to be a GSW alumni. This is a great school that checks all the boxes. It has a vibrant student life and a close community that meets the needs of the students.

The vending machine was leaking and I had a hard fall from it because there was no signs to notify and I ended up going to medical for it! I had a headache for a week or so!! I didn’t call into the company because it was a lot of stress for me. I went to the counselor a few times on campus and I came out with information I already knew from my counselor back home. I also went to the medical on campus for something personal and they sent me to the hospital off campus which the one off campus informed me that I had to go to my own provider.... I’m a college student without a car and my providing hospital was about an hour out. By the time I was able to leave for the weekend I no longer had the specimen for it to be tested. Not only that, the food caused me to have stomach issues and I resulted in buying my own food to survive off for the last 2 weeks. Positive notes: the school sets out a good message; to be involved! There are a lot of fun events especially for residents. The Resident assistants are super helpful if you need someone to talk to, and have helped me to stay until the end. The freshmen coordinators are understanding and try to guide each student towards the right path. Like all places, there are the good and the bad. If you have the right resources and get involved within the first few weeks you will be set! (Right resources include a vehicle or someone who can drive you because gsw is 45 minutes from Albany and an hour from Columbus.)
