I spent a few hours this week and hoping to get to spend more time there. It is hard to believe that all these soldiers gave there lives for ud83cuddfaud83cuddf8 yes no matter what side they fought for it was for us. I travel all over the world and try to spend what time I can talking to those who speak no more. If you live here in Chattanooga go there see the men and women that lay there waiting to hear from you, all you have to do is just go there and see for yourself if you just stand there and look you will put them to rest knowing that someone still cares. A wonderful place for your city, state to honor the meaning of life from the past. It truly is a beautiful place that your town maintains for history
Visited mother-in-law's grave. I'd never been to a military cemetery. It was very pretty & had beautiful views of the mountains.
Visited the grave of MoH Desmond Doss. If you're not familiar with his story, watch the movie Hacksaw Ridge. A true American hero, and I don't use that term lightly!
