What a wonderful jewel. Our cottage was charming and homey and couldn't have been cozier. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the amazing shower. We truly felt like personal guests. The signs of the door are welcoming and madenme smile. A place like this is a rarity these days. Hope to visit again.
This place was recommended by another nearby Inn as they were already full for our dates. Well, I would say it worked out perfectly because we could not have been happier with this place and Frank, the owner/operator. He has done great work restoring the property and is very hospitable! The place is very clean and the linens, towels, and bedding are all very comfortable. The location is very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
A neat place to spend the night. The single rooms are very cute and homey feeling. Midnight the cat is a great welcoming committee. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a delightful break from the cookie cutter motel room chains. The rooms in the small motel section have mini kitchenettes with real cups,dishes,glasses and the rooms are nicely decorated and always spotlessly clean. There are rockers to enjoy the porch area and a nice cat (midnight) who likes to claim a space. The owner is on site and greets guests personally. Our stays there have always been peaceful and enjoyable and the personal level of service is much appreciated in these difficult times for older travelers.
Great place! Only a short walk to downtown Clayton! We stayed in the American room and it was perfect! Frank is a great host.
