My husband and I just got home from our weekend stay at Beechwood Inn. Our room was huge, had a beautiful fireplace and a private patio. The bed was so comfy and the sheets were luxurious! They weren’t serving dinner because of COVID, but they scheduled a time for each guest to have a private breakfast and the food was amazing! The location is perfect, close to wineries, hiking spots and downtown Clayton. The building itself is vintage, rustic and impeccably maintained with modern updates like the bathrooms and lighting/fans. It was such a fun experience, we would definitely stay here again.

Two of the most spectacularly interesting people you will ever meet (i.e. Gayle and David). If you love wine, food or tourism in Rabun County then you can't find a better place to stay. Convenient to downtown Clayton (walking distance), renowned chefs, an incredible wine cellar and views to boot. Stay in the same room/cabin or try them all. Special nod to the Cabernet and the bath robes (we purchased two of each)!

After planning a large wedding in the SF Bay Area that was cancelled due to the COVID19 pandemic, we decided to go local, and smaller. Beechwood Inn's elopement package was just what we were looking for. The Inn is incredibly clean, and inviting. Gayle and David invited us, and our four guests into their Inn with open arms, making us feel so welcome and taken care of. Our wedding was perfect, with Beechwood Inn handling all of the details. We opted for a private, chef guided four course dinner, and it was incredible. We look forward to celebrating our anniversaries and special occasions there in the future!

What a fabulous experience! David and Gayle were amazing. Even in the midst of a pandemic, they showed incredible hospitality and kindness. All safety precations were met and we felt we were a world away from any of the troubles in the world. Fabulous breakfast. Wine was so good, we bought two bottles. If you have the opportunity, Wine30 is a must! Both nights the appetizers were wonderful. HIGHLY recommended! We will be back!
